Do you already use some devices with AI in your practice?
Yes we especially introduced an AI device to rule out cardiac genetic diseases. We mainly use it for children under 18 sport certificates.
What is your experience with AI?
We train AI since the beginning. We carefully monitor the opportunity to use AI in our practice but our policy is "Patient and human first" so we always center our attention on the patient, not the machine.
Our experience until now is it could be used as a copilot in cockpit to monitor the diagnostic process and multitasking actions. The benefit is higher for complex cases but the other side is it could deliver too much information and it could be sometimes scary for the patient.
Also AI is an algorithm process but has no experience in real life. Clinical experience remains the paramount in medicine and our experience will make the difference.
